We offer a variety of classes for all levels of expertise. We also have a number of clubs that meet monthly to encourage those with similar interests to meet together.
The shop is constantly adding new items to it's website, and feature numerous block-of-the-month programs.
We also have several groups that share their talents with community projects, among these groups is "Caring Quilters." The Caring Quilters group started approximately 4 years ago with a group of women wanting to make quilts for charity. Since that time, over 50 quilts have been donated to various charities and people in need. For the last couple of years, four or more women have devoted three hours one day a week to do this. Supplies are donated by The Rabbit's Lair. Machine quilting has been done through various sources. Betty Duffy, Marguerite Steiner, Nancy White, Patty Wilhelm have been the mainstays of the group.
The Quilts: Each quilt is unique in it's colors, design, and seasonal depending upon what type of material we have available. Some are of specific designs, such as for young and older children. Many times the quilts change from the original concept and ideas.
Beneficiaries: The Children's Advocacy Center in Little Flock, Quilts of Valor, individuals in need of comforting; quilts for the people of Joplin, Missouri following their loss by tornado.
Anyone interested in joining us may meet upstairs on Tuesday afternoon from 2 to 5 at The Rabbit's Lair.
